The basement of the Matthew 25 Center flooded and we lost most of our Housewares inventory. We were able to salvage the kitchen wares and some of the bedding/towels/fabric items that were on the top shelves. All of the electronics were ruined and everthing on the bottom shelves was caked with dirt. We lost a good amount of stuff, that is the bad news...but that is also the good news, it's stuff and not people. We can replace stuff slowly.

With a ton of hard work from our volunteers and some students from Guerin, we were able to clean up everything in about a week! So the Housewares ministry is up and running out of the Matthew 25 Center garage until the new building is complete.
