Housewares and Small Appliance Donations

Need to get rid of some stuff? Let's face it, yard sales are a lot of work! Donate your items for a tax write off instead. Did you know that the Merciful H.E.L.P. center is the only place in central Indiana where a person in need can get housewares items for free?

We accept most anything that is a basic need. Please bring your used items to the Matthew 25 Center bin or collection area near the St. Cecilia Music Room. Items are picked up each day!

Our most urgent needs are vacuums, toasters, microwaves, coffee pots, crock pots, and new pillows. Unfortunately, we cannot accept decorative items, large TVs (must be small enough to be carried by women), toys or stuffed animals, used pillows, or clothes (we collect used clothes at our Goodwill "stuff the truck" drives twice a year).

Items that we CAN use are cutlery, glassware, plates, bakeware, pots, kitchenware, towels, bedding, small kitchen appliances, small home electronics, curtains, ironing boards and rugs.

We also accept furniture and large appliances.

Email HELPhousewares@olmc1.org for more information or questions.
